Structural steel and upgrade options

We manufacture our frames from structural-grade steel. In-stock configurations are pre-engineered, while projects with requirements beyond the standard configuration can call for a heavy-duty frame upgrade.

Higher wind, seismic or frame-load requirements may call for a custom specification. We’ll work from your project’s design criteria to confirm the frame and engineering scope for the exact dome and site.

Develop the complete structural brief

Provide the location, intended use, duration and design criteria requested by the local authority or project engineer. Include proposed suspended equipment, openings, anchors and supporting-surface details.

Wind, snow and suspended loads interact. Review them together as part of the complete structure rather than choosing one headline rating in isolation.

Confirm the engineering deliverables

Ask which engineering report, drawings, frame specification, anchoring design and installation requirements are included for the actual project.

Confirm how local acceptance will be handled and who provides the supporting surface and installation. Pricing, current availability and manufacturing timing require a project quote.
