The Cleantech Open utilized eight 20′ domes for their annual business competition for clean technology startups. The domes symbolized progressive thought and sustainability, housing judging panels inside. To dampen the superior acoustic properties of the domes and to limit sound transfer from either outside or inside the dome, acoustic foam panels were inserted on the interior.
